It has been confirmed that Dan Stevens, who portrayed the calm veterinarian Trapper in the movie “Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire,” will reprise his role in the upcoming film. David Callaham, who previously worked on an early draft for “The New Empire,” is writing the script for the third “Godzilla vs. Kong” movie. Although details about the plot are scarce, Legendary Pictures has revealed that the new film will introduce several new human characters along with the popular Titans Godzilla and Kong as they confront a catastrophic world-ending danger. The film is set to be directed by Grant Sputore, who is well-known for his work on “I Am Mother” for Netflix, since Adam Wingard, the director of the previous films, was unable to participate due to scheduling conflicts.
