Although BioWare hasn’t specifically appeased Mass Effect fans on N7 Day as promised, there appears to be some substantial news concerning the franchise nonetheless. It was previously announced in 2021 that Amazon was contemplating a TV series based on Mass Effect, and it seems this project has now progressed to an official stage.

One of the biggest enigmas yet to be clarified isn’t about Agatha, Billy, or the coven, but rather a character we barely knew: Nicholas Scratch. The finale delved into Agatha’s past and showed Nicky’s birth, leaving viewers curious about his father’s identity. Although the series doesn’t explicitly reveal this, fans have their own hypothesis – and it appears that showrunner Jac Schaeffer may be subtly confirming it. In an interview with Backstory Magazine (via ComicBookMovie), Schaeffer hints that Nicky could be the offspring of Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) and no one other than Rio Vidal/Death (Aubrey Plaza).
