Steven Spielberg’s Criminally Underrated Sci-Fi Movie is Streaming Free

Steven Spielberg captivated audiences with classics like E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Jurassic Park. But his 2005 film, War of the Worlds, based on the H.G. Wells novel, proved more controversial. The movie follows a divorced, working-class father struggling to keep his children safe during an alien invasion and get them back to their mother. Now, fans can watch War of the Worlds for free, as it’s been added to Tubi’s streaming library as of January 1st.

Will Injustice 3 Ever Happen With Recent DC Changes?

Honestly, as a fighting game fan, I’m a little worried about Injustice 3. It’s not the game itself, but what’s been happening at Warner Bros. and DC lately. They’re completely rebooting the DC universe with the new Superman movie coming in 2025, and that’s under new leadership with James Gunn running things. Plus, with Warner Bros. merging with Discovery and then Netflix, they’ve already cancelled a bunch of games they were working on. It just makes me wonder if Injustice 3 will really happen, or if it’ll get caught up in all the changes.

DC Reinvents a God-Tier Justice League Enemy, 66 Years After His Debut

We’re now in the second year of the Absolute Universe, and things are heating up with even bigger dangers ahead. The new series, Absolute Wonder Woman, recently introduced a team similar to the Suicide Squad, and characters like Poison Ivy and Black Adam will be appearing soon. However, the latest issue of the popular Absolute Martian Manhunter comic introduces a completely unexpected and potentially very cunning new villain – one that could be the most dangerous threat we’ve seen yet.

8 Shonen Jump Series Ended in January 2026

Eight different manga series from Shonen Jump concluded this month, with only one finishing its run naturally instead of being cancelled. As anticipated, most of these series came from the Shonen Jump+ digital platform, while just two were published in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Amazon Just Made Prime’s Masterpiece Sci-Fi Show Free For Everyone (But Be Quick!)

The first season of Fallout, adapted from the popular video game, was released all at once, letting viewers watch all episodes back-to-back. However, the second season is being released one episode per week, which some fans miss. This change in release schedule happened right after Episode 7 of Season 2, titled “The Handoff,” aired – an episode that finally revealed secrets about one of the most enigmatic characters in the Fallout story.

21 Years Ago, King of the Hill Gave Dale His Most Shocking Episode Ever (And It Still Holds Up in 2026)

Dale, a close friend of Hank on King of the Hill, was known for his distrust of authority and belief that things weren’t always as they appeared. This skepticism was challenged when he began to consider the possibility that one of his conspiracy theories might actually be true. The episode “Dale to the Chief,” which aired on January 30, 2005, remains one of the most impactful and surprisingly relevant episodes for his character, even today.

Image Comics Just Released Best Modern Comic Book Issue

Since March 2025, Deniz Camp and Eric Zawadzki’s comic book series, Assorted Crisis Events, has been consistently innovative. Each issue of this sci-fi anthology is highly recommended, and the creators have repeatedly surpassed expectations. Issue #8 may be their best work yet.

What’s Coming to Prime Video in February 2026? Everything Arriving Next Month

As a huge movie and TV fan, I’m excited to see what Amazon Prime Video has planned for February 2026! They’ll still be offering a mix of their own shows and movies alongside titles they’ve licensed. I’m especially looking forward to the debut of the new project from Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman – that’s going to be big! Plus, they’re adding the classic Perry Mason series from 1957, which is amazing news. And it looks like they’re really leaning into Valentine’s Day with a bunch of romantic comedies and dramas – everything from the original Relationship Goals and the Italian film Love Me Love Me, to classics like La La Land and even the tearjerker P.S. I Love You with Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank. It’s a great lineup!

Tom Hardy’s Taboo: A Relevant and Riveting Historical Thriller

The actor delivers a captivating performance as the show’s complicated and compelling lead character, showcasing even more nuance than his popular role as Alfie Solomons in Peaky Blinders. Many would agree this is Hardy’s strongest work on television. The character perfectly suits his mysterious on-screen persona and feels deeply personal, as if it comes directly from his own inner world.

Normally, episodes two through five cost $31.94, but it seems the bug is making the entire game free for other PlayStation Plus members, according to comments on the post.
