The upcoming horror film “Speak No Evil” is a fresh adaptation of the 2022 Danish movie “Gaesterne,” but what adds to the chilling atmosphere is that the original story was based on real-life events, albeit not as grim as portrayed in either movie. In a recent behind-the-scenes look at “Speak No Evil,” director and co-writer of the Danish film, Christian Tafdrup, shared how the idea stemmed from an experience he had during his vacation, where he pondered what would transpire if he accepted an invitation to spend more time with a seemingly amiable family. Tafdrup also revealed that shortly after the release of the original movie, Blumhouse reached out to him with plans to create their own version of the story. The Nightmare Before Christmas Manga to Get New Full-Color Editions

A while back, over five years ago, TOKYOPOP published a manga adaptation of ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ that has been cherished by many. Originally released in black and white, this Disney Manga version of the 1993 stop-motion animated film by Tim Burton is now being reprinted with a color edition. The paperback contains 176 pages, with the manga beautifully colored by Jun Asuka (Disney Fairies: The Petite Fairy’s Diary), and features new cover artwork by Manuel Puppo (Marvel’s Voices).
