The sci-fi action movie The Creator, directed by Gareth Edwards, takes place in a future Los Angeles during a war between humans and artificial intelligence. It began streaming on Prime Video on December 20th and stars John David Washington as Joshua Taylor, an ex-special forces soldier tasked with finding and eliminating the creator of advanced AI.

You know, it’s funny – the characters I always end up loving the most are the ones who don’t quite fit in, and this new character is totally that! She’s super outgoing, talks a mile a minute, and she’s just instantly likeable. Everyone’s calling her SAM – short for Series Acclimation Mil – and from what we’ve seen from Starfleet Academy, she’s definitely going to be something special, way more than just a typical cadet.

Based on Jennifer Iocapelli’s novel, Finding Her Edge tells the story of three sisters dealing with the weight of their family’s history. The story focuses on Adriana, a figure skater who’s trying to balance training with a new partner, Brayden, and her lingering feelings for her former partner and current rival, Freddie. Things get even more complicated when a suggested fake relationship with Brayden is proposed to attract sponsorships, all while she’s striving for an Olympic gold medal.

Black Flame first appeared in Action Comics #304, but she wasn’t a villain for Superman – she was actually an enemy of Supergirl. The video game The Punisher surprisingly benefited from the violent nature often found in shooter games. Created by Volition and published by THQ, it launched on PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Windows on January 18, 2005. While it had plenty of dark humor and constant action, what really set The Punisher apart was its inclusion of a torture mechanic, making it arguably the most brutal superhero game ever created.
