After being cast as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider series on Prime Video – a project created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge – the actress known for her role in Game of Thrones has finally unveiled her look as the iconic character.
This upcoming movie is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be released several months before Avengers: Doomsday. It has the potential to smoothly connect Spider-Man’s story to the new Avengers film. However, when the cast for Avengers: Doomsday was revealed, Spider-Man wasn’t included. Fortunately, recent news suggests Tom Holland might still appear in the film, which is encouraging for fans.
You can briefly see Ms. Caulfield walk past the camera, with just a glimpse of her brown hair, and a taller person follows close behind. While we can’t see the face, the jacket – which has a bird design on the back – strongly suggests it’s Chloe Price. This is especially meaningful given the importance of birds, specifically the blue jay, in the first game.
Because of its unusual and mind-bending style, many fans first thought Tom King’s Mister Miracle was a separate story, existing outside the main DC Universe timeline – an ‘Elseworlds’ tale. Last year, mangaka Yuki Kawaguchi launched Otr of The Flame, a story set in a Viking world facing a demonic threat. The main character, Otr, dreams of being a cook, but may be the only one who can save humanity. Though the setting shares similarities with Vinland Saga, the artwork is more reminiscent of My Hero Academia. The series recently concluded in Japan with its thirty-fourth chapter, and Shonen Jump hasn’t explained why it ended. Fortunately, Kawaguchi was able to provide a conclusive ending for Otr, though fans are questioning whether it fully resolved the story.
