Star Wars video games have consistently enjoyed great admiration from fans over the years. There’s a strong desire for a third installment of Star Wars Battlefront, but its development remains uncertain. For a decade, Electronic Arts (EA) held exclusive rights to console Star Wars games, yet their output left some fans underwhelmed – only four titles were released during this period, with two being sequels, and several projects getting scrapped. Fans were hopeful when they learned that Ubisoft would develop the first open-world Star Wars game, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.

At San Diego Comic-Con, IDW Publishing unveiled the exciting collaboration between Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Godzilla. Not only did they introduce the creative duo of writer Tim Seeley and artist Fico Pe, but they also shared several covers to generate excitement for this event. Interestingly, Seeley is currently working on the main Godzilla series, while Pe previously illustrated the TMNT X Stranger Things crossover in 2023. This upcoming series will disclose the origins of the Foot Clan as a defense force against kaiju in Japan. It’s speculated that Shredder, leader of the Foot Clan, could be orchestrating Godzilla’s appearance to build his own kaiju army.

Gunn stated in the Picturehouse podcast that he wasn’t looking for a flawless Superman. He emphasized that no one is perfect, not even Superman. In fact, Gunn added that this Superman can lose his temper and, at times, may even fling a desk across the room due to frustration with Lex.

This afternoon at San Diego Comic-Con’s X-Men panel from Marvel Comics, we got a sneak peek of the upcoming “Age of Revelation” comics in November. “Age of Revelation” will take over the X-Men series with fresh titles, all set in an alternate future where Doug Ramsey, Apocalypse’s heir and known as Revelation, has built a mutant paradise on Earth. One of these new comics is “X-Vengers,” written by Jason Loo and illustrated by Sergio Davila. In this series, Dani Moonstar leads a revamped Avengers team consisting of Hawkeye, Vision, Water Widow, Shang-Chi, Variable Man, and Cannonball. It seems these newly formed Avengers have gained mutant abilities, and the cover for issue 2 shows Dani Moonstar brandishing Captain America’s shield to symbolize her authority.
