Taskmaster unveils cast for season 21 including Gavin & Stacey icon

I’m so excited for the new season of Taskmaster! The lineup is amazing – we’ve got Amy Gledhill, a really funny stand-up comedian, plus Armando Iannucci, the genius behind shows like The Thick of It. Then there’s Joanna Page, who I loved in Gavin & Stacey, and Joel Dommett, who’s brilliant on The Masked Singer. To top it all off, Kumail Nanjiani, who I’ve seen in Silicon Valley and Eternals, is joining in the fun too! It’s going to be a great series.

Why Stranger Things Was Wrong Not To Kill Any Main Characters in the Series Finale

It’s common for series endings to be controversial, though few have sparked as much outrage as the finale of Game of Thrones. However, the biggest issue with Stranger Things‘ ending was that it didn’t give clear, lasting consequences to its most important characters. While Eleven’s fate is left open to interpretation, the show avoided giving any major character a truly tragic ending – something fans had been discussing since the final season was announced. This makes sense, given the creators’ consistent message that the show was about friendship, personal growth, and optimism, not unnecessary violence. But just because a creative decision is understandable doesn’t necessarily mean it feels satisfying or makes sense within the story.

Interest in the upcoming live-action series is building, especially after the main cast was announced: Byeon Woo-seok will play Jinwoo, Han So-hee will be Cha Hae-in, and Kang You-seok will take on the role of Yoo Jinho. Recent news suggests the series will have seven episodes and filming is expected to start in April. A post on the Filmmakers Community forum also revealed additional cast members. While details about what the episodes will cover are still unknown, some fans are worried that seven episodes might not be enough to tell the full story.
