6 Most Exciting New MCU Characters Confirmed For 2026

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m so excited for what’s coming! It looks like 2026 will bring us two big theatrical releases: Spider-Man: Brand New Day in July and Avengers: Doomsday in December. But that’s not all! We’re also getting a dedicated Punisher Special Presentation with Jon Bernthal, which is amazing! Plus, so many of our favorite series are continuing and growing the MCU in really interesting directions – Wonder Man, another season of Daredevil: Born Again, VisionQuest, more Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and even a second season of X-Men ’97! I can’t wait to see all the new characters they’ll be introducing, it’s going to be incredible!

7 Most Powerful DC/Marvel Amalgam Heroes

As a comic book movie fan, I always found the Amalgam Universe fascinating – that brief period where DC and Marvel heroes merged. Even though it didn’t last, it really did create some of the most incredibly powerful characters we’ve ever seen from either of those companies. It’s a shame it was temporary, but the impact of those combined heroes is still felt today.

If You Love To Be Hero X, These 10 Action Fantasy Series Are Essential to Watch Next

These series all fall into the action-fantasy genre, but each one creates its own distinct world. Fate/Grand Order draws on mythology and features large-scale, intense battles. Space Dandy leans into science fiction with exciting space adventures that can be surprisingly emotional. Black Clover centers on the humorous and motivating rivalry between two friends. And My Hero Academia explores the challenges and pressures of being a hero in a highly controlled society.

7 Movie Title Characters That Aren’t Actually The Main Character

It can be a real surprise when a movie’s main character isn’t actually the hero of the story. Sometimes this happens because a character who seems important doesn’t have much screen time, and the plot focuses on other people acting for them. Whatever the reason, this is happening more and more often in movies these days, and it’s a bit concerning.

Stranger Things Star Teases Return for Another It Project After Welcome to Derry

A surprising moment in the first season of It: Welcome to Derry showed a missing person poster of Richie Tozier to his mother, Margaret. The poster featured Finn Wolfhard, who played Richie in the It remake. Wolfhard recently hinted in an interview with ScreenRant that this wasn’t just a random detail, and that even more significant things are planned for his character in the series.

Marvel Secretly Created A Ridiculous Problem For Avengers: Doomsday 6 Months Ago

With Captain America and Thor returning, and with Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, and Jeremy Renner likely to reprise their roles, it’s still a mystery who will join Sam Wilson’s new Avengers team. While it makes sense he’d gather the most powerful heroes to defend Earth, there aren’t existing relationships to bring them together quickly. For example, Riri Williams would be a brilliant addition with her incredible tech skills, and Wakanda is already interested in her – she definitely wouldn’t miss a fight against Doom. However, because of how the ‘Ironheart’ series ended, it seems unlikely she’ll even be acknowledged, let alone rejoin the team.

‘Really Smart, Guys’: James Cameron Takes A Big Steamer On Alien 3 For Killing Off Beloved Characters, And I Have Zero Arguments

Cameron recently spoke with Michael Biehn, a frequent guest on his podcast Just Foolin’ About with Michael Biehn. While discussing generative AI and how it impacts actors’ images being used in films, Biehn suddenly changed the subject. He asked Cameron how he felt about the fate of Carrie Henn’s character, Newt, in Alien 3. Cameron laughed and then responded with:
