As a cinephile delving into the realm of streaming, I’ve recently stumbled upon a chilling gem that deserves recognition: the eerie masterpiece known as “Grave of the Vampire,” or alternatively, “Seed of Terror.” This 1972 horror flick is an intriguing work of genius, penned by none other than David Chase. Interestingly enough, the screenplay was derived from his very own novel, “The Still Life.” In essence, it’s a two-fold creative endeavor from this talented filmmaker.

Fans of the comic series “Chainsaw Man” are abuzz yet again on YouTube, expressing their enthusiasm. The anime adaptation hails from the celebrated manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which first started its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump back in 2018 and was later moved to the Shonen Jump+ app this year, continuing its run. While season 1 captivated viewers with exceptional animation, intricate characters, and heart-pounding moments, it’s the opening theme that has fans enthralled once more.

Marvel unveiled the creative crew responsible for Ultimate Endgame at the Marvel Comics: Ultimate Universe Panel during San Diego Comic-Con. This five-part event series is spearheaded by Deniz Camp, Jonas Scharf, and others, hitting comic book stores in December. The Maker breaks free from captivity to confront the heroes who have instilled hope and freedom in a world he once dominated firmly. For the first time, characters from all five Ultimate Universe titles unite, and the ultimate destiny of this enthralling new universe is determined in a grand, multi-front battle against The Maker and his formidable allies.

If you’ve been away from watching The Simpsons for a while, it still delivers the witty, sarcastic humor that you remember. The scene where the ‘Council of Dooms’ appears together is a subtle jibe at Marvel Studios and their famous Hall H spectacles; it might also be poking fun at Marvel for not being present on stage this year (they skipped their usual Saturday night, prime-time slot). On the other hand, this scene creates an internet-friendly moment that also serves as free advertising for Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday, the next major crossover event in the franchise. The punchline is that The Simpsons was playing exactly the kind of trick its “business bosses” would appreciate.
