Nancy and Jonathan break up during a terrifying ordeal in the Upside Down’s version of the Hawkins lab. After almost collapsing the structure of the Upside Down, they find themselves trapped with no way out. As a strange, white substance melts and starts to fill the room, they climb onto a table to stay safe. Thinking they’re about to die, they finally air their grievances, arguing about everything from their musical preferences to each other’s habits. James Cameron seems willing to move on from the Avatar franchise if the latest film doesn’t do well at the box office. He told The Town that he’s been developing the idea for around 30 years, originally writing it in 1995. After initial disinterest and being told it was unrealistic, he put the project on hold for a decade before revisiting it seriously in 2005. He admits he’s okay with ending the series here, but currently, the film is profitable and the ideas for a fourth movie are too promising to ignore.

As a huge fan, what always struck me about Shadow of the Colossus was how it did so much without relying on constant action. Looking back, it’s almost unbelievable that a game like that came out when it did – everyone else was focused on explosions and flashy graphics, but Colossus was all about mood, quiet moments, and feeling utterly alone. It made you really think about what you were doing and why. That confidence, that willingness to be different, is why it still sticks with me after all these years, and why I see its influence everywhere, even in newer things like Predator: Badlands.
