The hilarious comedy Superbad began streaming on Hulu on December 1st. Starring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera, the movie follows two high school seniors trying to have one last epic adventure – throwing a party and experiencing everything before graduation and heading off to college. Directed by Greg Mottola and written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the film also features Judd Apatow as a producer and includes appearances by Seth Rogen, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Bill Hader, Martha MacIsaac, and Emma Stone.

As a longtime Stephen King fan, I have to say I was really impressed with the recent adaptations. Out of the six projects – both films and TV series – a remarkable five stayed incredibly faithful to the original stories. The two that took some liberties were interesting cases: The Running Man altered the ending, and The Monkey deliberately went for a lighter, more fun horror vibe, which, honestly, it pulled off. Overall, a strong showing for King on screen!
As of December 23rd, the movie Red One is the second most popular title on Prime Video, moving up one position from the day before, according to FlixPatrol. It’s currently just behind the 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Completing the top 5 on Prime Video are Oh. What. Fun (scheduled for 2025), Candy Cane Lane (2023), and Merv (also planned for 2025).
