Although ASKA excels at vanquishing vast numbers of adversaries, it may stumble on occasions. Contrary to a typical rogue-lite structure like in Returnal, these falls form part of the narrative and could hint at unsettling connotations beyond what appears at first glance. Gameplay-wise, players traverse walls, swing using grappling hooks, and annihilate swarms of enemies in a manner reminiscent to the original.

Thankfully, Tanjiro has support from Giyu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, during these intense battles. To complicate matters, Muzan observes from the shadows with a hostage in his possession.
