Prior to its November launch, Netflix has unveiled a fresh character poster for “Arcane” Season 2. Since 2024 began, Netflix has been gradually revealing sneak peeks at the second and final season of “Arcane”. Most recently, they showcased an extended clip from upcoming episodes. Now, to keep the anticipation high, Netflix is releasing a new image that focuses on one of the series’ key characters.

The trailer for Kyle Mooney’s directorial debut, titled “Y2K,” has been released by A24. Previously of Saturday Night Live, Mooney is directing a comedy about disaster that will hit theaters on December 6. The film follows three teenagers played by Rachel Zeigler, Jaeden Martell, and Julian Dennison as they navigate the chaotic New Year’s Eve of 1999. It may be helpful for younger readers to know that there was a belief among some that the world would end at the stroke of midnight on January 1, 2000, often referred to as the Y2K problem. Mooney’s direction brings this transitional period to life with vivid details in both wardrobe and set design, effectively capturing the essence of the Y2K era.

PAX West is scheduled from August 30th to September 2nd, and during this time, Nintendo enthusiasts can anticipate some thrilling events. At its booth, Nintendo will offer four games for the Switch console to play, among which are two unpublished titles – “The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom” and “Super Mario Party Jamboree”. These will be the first chances for fans to try out these games, particularly “Echoes of Wisdom”. Besides, “Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition”, which has recently been released, will also be playable. Additionally, Zynga’s “Star Wars: Hunters” will be available at the booth as well.
