Crunchyroll’s Best Fantasy of 2024 Drops New Look At Season 2

This anime is adapted from a light novel by Fujino Omori, who also wrote Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? A second season was quickly greenlit after the first season ended. More information was revealed on July 6th, 2025, at the anime’s first anniversary event, where manga artist Aoi Toshi unveiled a beautiful new illustration to build excitement. The new season is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2026, and a recent press release included a teaser trailer and another striking visual featuring the character Will.

Things Just Got A Lot Worse For The Rings Of Power

Though inspired by the works of J.R.R. Tolkien – the author behind The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movies – this show takes a different, more creative path with the world of Middle-earth. This is largely because the series isn’t based on one specific book, but instead draws from various parts of Tolkien’s writings that built the foundation for his stories.

DC Just Gave Gotham Its Own Daily Bugle, and It’s Exactly What Batman Needs

In recent years, as Batman stories have focused more on global dangers, Gotham City and its residents haven’t felt as connected to readers. While we still see glimpses of Gotham’s gritty side – and fans quickly notice when it feels off – the city has largely lost some of its unique appeal. It’s become less common to see stories focused on street-level life, and Gotham often feels like an exaggerated version of itself. Thankfully, Matt Fraction’s recent work on Batman (2025) is bringing back that individual feel, starting with the introduction of the Gotham Eye, a newspaper similar to the Daily Bugle.

Was DC K.O. a Bait and Switch? Because Fans Aren’t Happy

I was really excited for the first round of DC K.O., especially after seeing it in last month’s issue, #2. But honestly, it wasn’t what I expected. Instead of the big hero vs. villain fights we all anticipated – like Superman against Giganta or Wonder Woman taking on Starro – it turned out to be a scavenger hunt for powerful artifacts. The comic itself was great, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of fans, myself included, were pretty disappointed. We were hoping for action, and it felt like we were promised one thing and got another. It really makes you wonder if DC K.O. misled us a bit, doesn’t it?

Since then, the developers have consistently added new chapters. Now that the complete version 1.0 is available, including the final chapter, Tiny Bunny is becoming increasingly popular with Steam players.

Disney Has Finally Heard Star Wars Fans

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I was pretty upset when things started changing after Return of the Jedi. George Lucas always had a bigger picture in mind, and when he finally got to tell it with Episode I, he actually went back and tweaked the original trilogy to fit his new vision. It was a shock when the original Star Wars from 1977 was re-released in 1997 – two years before The Phantom Menace came out – with a bunch of changes. It just didn’t feel quite the same anymore.
