The beginning of Stranger Things Season 5 introduced big changes to Hawkins, Indiana. The military has taken over the town and is now operating in the Upside Down. Meanwhile, the group is trying to find out where Vecna is, believing they defeated him last season, but they soon discover he’s been planning something even worse – a dangerous plot involving the town’s children.

According to Deadline, a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 17, 2028. This will be Paramount’s fourth Turtles film, following the two live-action movies from the 2010s and the animated film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem released in 2023. The movie is set to premiere just before Thanksgiving in 2028, and is one of two family films planned by the studio for the holiday season. A Sonic the Hedgehog event movie will follow a month later, timed for Christmas.

As a huge Sonic fan, I’m not surprised Paramount is already thinking beyond the fourth film! They recently announced a big “event movie” planned for December 22, 2028, set in the Sonic universe. We don’t know exactly what it’ll be about yet, but the buzz is that it could involve Shadow the Hedgehog – maybe even a whole movie centered around him. That’s something I’d definitely be excited to see!
As a film and TV obsessive, I’ve noticed how some episodes just become… infamous. Take Lost‘s “Stranger in a Strange Land” – everyone remembers it as ‘the tattoo episode,’ and it’s often brought up as the one truly weak link in an otherwise great show. It’s funny how these moments stick with a series, becoming either a running joke or a cautionary tale. And honestly, most shows have at least one of these episodes, though I don’t always think they deserve the negativity they get.
Starting December 1st, you can watch Paddington on Paramount+. This popular family film, based on the books by Michael Bond, tells the story of Paddington Bear, a marmalade-loving bear from Peru who finds a new home with the Brown family in London. Paddington gets into a bit of mischief when a taxidermist starts chasing him. While Paddington is now available on Paramount+, its sequels, Paddington 2 and Paddington in Peru, aren’t currently on the streaming service.
Even though it’s a widely loved film, some minor flaws in The Dark Knight still bother viewers nearly twenty years later. One emotionally powerful scene falls flat due to a funny error that continues to bother director Christopher Nolan.
As a big fan, I’ve been hoping for detailed predictions about where the story is going, but honestly, I think BioWare is mostly focusing on the big picture right now. It sounds like they’re still figuring out all the smaller details. With Dragon Age: The Veilguard coming out just over a year ago, and then the recent layoffs and changes at the studio, there are fewer than 100 people working on the game now. And Mass Effect 5? They announced that five years ago! It’s been a huge task just rebuilding the entire galaxy for that one, so it makes sense things are taking time.
