Rumors suggested a February 2026 release, but a recent post by leaker NateTheHate on ResetEra indicates the Switch 2 version has been put on hold for a few months. According to the post, the effort and cost of porting the game to the Switch 2 are now considered too high given the likely sales. Previously, Take-Two acknowledged that initial sales figures were lower than expected, but they remain committed to supporting the game through Gearbox.

A new animated short reveals her origins and motivations, showing how she rose through the ranks of Talon and became a serious threat. The short culminates in a dramatic showdown where she battles Doomfist to the death.
