I’m really excited about Shadowstone! The team at Secret Door says it’s what they wanted to make after Sunderfolk, and it sounds awesome. They’ve taken the world and characters we already love from the Sunderlands, but made everything way more challenging and strategic. Apparently, it’s inspired by some of their favorite roguelikes, so I’m expecting a really deep and engaging experience.

Lee expressed surprise at the success of ARC Raiders, stating it’s performed roughly twice as well as he originally predicted. He believes this is because the game effectively blends elements from other extraction shooter games while also being mindful of players’ time. While acknowledging the gameplay isn’t entirely groundbreaking, Lee highlighted its unique combination of features as a key factor in its positive reception.

AMD’s gaming revenue jumped 50% to $843 million compared to last year. Sales of their semi-custom chips also increased year-over-year, although they dipped slightly from the previous quarter, as anticipated. Looking ahead to 2026, AMD expects revenue from these semi-custom chips to fall by a substantial double-digit percentage as the current generation of gaming consoles nears the end of its lifecycle. Additionally, Valve is scheduled to start delivering its AMD-powered Steam Machine early this year, according to Dr. Su (via IGN).

Battlefield 6 was the biggest driver of net bookings, but Apex Legends and EA Sports FC also performed well. EA Sports FC saw high single-digit growth in the third quarter (excluding sales from special editions), thanks to strong performance in Ultimate Team and FC Mobile. Apex Legends, the popular battle royale game, experienced double-digit growth due to new features and events.

Pokémon announced a new teaser revealing a 30th anniversary video will be shown during the Super Bowl on February 8th. For those unfamiliar, the Super Bowl is a major American football event happening this Sunday. This video is arriving earlier than many fans anticipated as the first big celebration of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary, and it’s likely just the start of the celebrations.

Ultimate Games will release the game on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 17, 2026, following its initial release on PC around a year and a half prior.
