Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and More Announced for Game Pass in August

The standout new release is Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Starting August 7th, it can be played by Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. This prequel to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla features Basim in ninth-century Baghdad, as he becomes an Assassin. On August 12th, Aliens: Fireteam Elite, a cooperative shooter game, will be back in service, and rogue-lite city-builder 9 Kings will be accessible via Game Preview on August 14th.

King of the Hill: Yes, Hank Hill Did Meet Fantastic Four’s Silver Surfer

In 1998, when traditional Saturday morning cartoons were popular on Fox Kids, they hosted an event called “Fox Kids Heads For The Hills.” During this event, Hank Hill and other Arlen citizens had interactions with various cartoon characters that aired as part of their programming block. One of these encounters was between Hank Hill and Norrin Radd, which occurred due to the airing of the Silver Surfer cartoon at the time. This series consisted of thirteen episodes over one season, focusing on the character who heralded Galactus as he battled enemies like Thanos and numerous other formidable villains. Although Hank doesn’t join in the fight against Thanos, he does enlist the Silver Surfer to help promote propane and related products, as shown in the clip below.

Nintendo Announces Another Presentation, And It’s Happening This Week

Because the upcoming broadcast isn’t a complete Nintendo Direct, spectators shouldn’t anticipate viewing any of Nintendo’s exclusive games during the stream. However, even though popular series like Mario and Zelda may not appear in the Indie World show, there are still plenty of intriguing prospects to look forward to. Some notable games I was hoping to catch a glimpse of during last week’s Partner Showcase were missing from the event.

Another Harry Potter Series Has Been Announced (& It Has an Incredible Cast)

The audiobook collection is set to revitalize the Harry Potter franchise, originating from J.K. Rowling’s debut novel in 1997 and expanding to encompass 11 movies and an upcoming series. By providing fresh voices for Rowling’s beloved characters, Audible’s newest release showcases over 200 actors throughout the seven books, with Hugh Laurie assuming the role of Albus Dumbledore. A sneak peek at the new voices has been unveiled in a trailer for the series, exciting fans.

Spider-Man’s All-New Space Suit May Have a Secret X-Men Connection

Marvel has shared a sneak peek at Amazing Spider-Man #11 by Joe Kelly, Pepe Larraz, and John Romita Jr. The preview primarily concentrates on our cosmic Spider-Man, who is revealed to be sporting a brand new Technarachnid Suit. This golden attire seems to have a life of its own, mirroring the fluid motion typical of a symbiote. Interestingly, the “Techn” part of the suit’s name shares similarities with techno-organic, a concept that has been frequently referenced in Marvel’s X-Men universe. For instance, Cable was once infected with a techno-organic virus as an infant before being sent to the future, Warlock, a former New Mutant, belongs to the Technarch alien species, and the creators of the Technarch are the Phalanx, a recurring antagonist in X-Men’s current Krakoa era.

Hazbin Hotel Creator Teases Show’s Unpredictable Future

Medrano posted an exciting update on her Bluesky account about upcoming developments in Hellaverse, particularly in Hazbin Hotel season 3. She hinted that even dedicated fans might struggle to guess what’s coming next since she herself isn’t sure how the storyline will unfold. Voice actors for the animated series have already completed recording, suggesting that we may not have long to wait before the season 2 finale is followed by the return of Charlie in season 3.

10 Best DC Stories of the ‘10s

In all honesty, the 2010s weren’t exactly a golden era for DC comics enthusiasts. While there were undeniably some fantastic titles during this period, the introduction of the New 52 brought about a wave of mediocre stories and the dismantling of what DC had carefully constructed in the 2000s. The 2010s were something of a roller coaster ride for fans – one never knew whether they’d be in store for something brilliant or a letdown. Nevertheless, there are several comics from this decade that truly shine, and these ten are the cream of the crop.

Xbox Game Pass August 2025 Games Include Assassin’s Creed

As a devoted Game Pass enthusiast, July truly delivered some fantastic gaming experiences – from charming indie gems like Minami Lane to the exhilarating return of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on day one. However, August seems to be taking a more subdued approach, with many games being added as expansions to Game Pass Standard instead of brand-new additions for Xbox. Despite this, there’s still an array of exciting titles on the horizon! Just remember to wrap up your gameplay with games like Persona 3 Reload and Farming Simulator 22 before they leave, or consider purchasing the full game to continue enjoying them.
