For those unfamiliar, this battle happened in chapters 316-321 of the manga and was a truly terrifying encounter – seriously, the creature felt like something straight out of an H.P. Lovecraft story. It took place during Guts’ years at sea, a significant part of the manga, and it’s never been animated before. Now, thanks to these pachinko machines, we’ll finally get to see this fight unfold using CG animation, and you can check it out! While it’s not exactly the revival many Berserk fans were hoping for, it’s great to see continued interest in the series and Miura’s incredible work.
