The latest trailer for “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle” movie has been released, creating excitement for its performance at the Japanese box office. The trailer highlights an impressive team-up between characters Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka. Previously hinted at during the anime’s first season with suggestions of a significant bond between them, this upcoming battle promises to be epic as Tanjiro and Giyu confront Akaza in what appears to be a reprisal of their earlier encounter. Despite recent layoffs, it has been confirmed by a Microsoft spokesperson speaking to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier that Kojima Productions’ OD is still in development. This follows a report by Windows Central’s Jez Corden stating the project remains secure following the job cuts.

At a Star Trek Las Vegas event in August 2025 (as reported by Collider), Terry Matalas confirmed that Orla Brady will be bringing the artificial intelligence FRIDAY to life in Vision Quest. Joining her are several other actors portraying AIs in this upcoming series, including James Spader, returning after an eleven-year absence as Ultron, T’Nia Miller making her debut as Jocasta, and Emily Hampshire taking on the role of EDITH, first seen in 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. Following JARVIS, FRIDAY was voiced by Kerry Condon from Avengers: Age of Ultron to Endgame.

Although the film was well-received, the numerous plotlines might have worked better as a television series rather than a movie. By providing ample time to explore the universe and developing each character more thoroughly, transforming the film into a TV series could effectively address most of its issues.
