In a recent interview with The Guardian, Houser discussed how Grand Theft Auto games, like the works of classic authors such as Dickens, Tolstoy, and Zola, offer players a compelling reflection of real-world issues and society.

The manga series My Hero Academia often features cover art and illustrations that don’t directly relate to the main storyline of Class 1-A, and a recently revealed piece is a good example of this. Creator Kohei Horikoshi has previously redesigned the heroes with a medieval, *The Lord of the Ringsinspired aesthetic. One striking image showed the heroes flying with a giant dragon, and it was first released with chapter 419 of the manga. Now, an animated version of this image will be shown at this year’s Jump Festa for event attendees.

According to LEGO Game News (@zayinpriv), the new LEGO Batman game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, is currently planned to launch in April 2026. However, with the recent delay of Grand Theft Auto 6 (originally scheduled for May 2026), the insider suggests LEGO Batman might now be released in May instead. This is because Warner Bros. Games wouldn’t have to worry about the two games competing for attention. If the game does come out in either of these months, it means fans could be playing it within six months – which is great news for those eager to get their hands on it.

The open-world action-adventure series Deadly Premonition, known for its survival horror elements, has a great deal on Steam right now. The second game, Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise (which also serves as a prequel), is 95% off, bringing the price down to just $1.99 until December 14th – a significant discount from its usual $40 price tag. So far, the show has most clearly drawn inspiration from the “Dark Phoenix Saga,” with Eleven mirroring the character of Jean Grey, who has telepathic and telekinetic powers. Now, it’s becoming apparent that another comic book arc, called “Inferno,” is also influencing the show’s direction.

While the big team-ups in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars will finally bring the X-Men and Avengers together, surprisingly, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will actually introduce at least one mutant character before Doctor Doom (played by Robert Downey Jr.) appears.
