One Piece: Elbaph’s Most Mysterious Character Isn’t Who Fans Think

With recent events in the Elbaf arc and the story now focusing on the past, Loki’s enigmatic companion has been largely forgotten. After chapter 1167 came out, a popular theory emerged suggesting the voice from the Transponder Snail belongs to Shirahoshi. Several prominent social media accounts, like @PookiePiece, even stated this as fact, despite the manga providing no evidence. This idea gained traction because of a past joke involving Harald, King Neptune, and Neptune’s unborn daughter and Loki. However, as the rumors continued to spread, @DawnStussy, a Japanese fan translator and theorist, proved the claims to be false.

Netflix’s Ted Sarandos Is Wrong, Going to the Movies is Not an Outdated Experience

Recent comments from Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos are causing worry in the film industry and among movie fans. When asked if Netflix had harmed Hollywood, Sarandos claimed they were actually rescuing it, but then stated that going to movie theaters is an old-fashioned practice. He believes the current struggles of box offices demonstrate people now prefer watching films at home.

Idiocracy is Leaving Netflix & It’s Soon

I’m a huge fan of Mike Judge – the guy behind classics like Beavis and Butt-Head, King of the Hill, and Office Space. He directed Idiocracy, which he wrote with Etan Cohen, and honestly, it’s become one of my all-time favorites! It didn’t do great in theaters originally, only making around $495,000, but it’s really found its audience over the years thanks to DVD and streaming. If you haven’t seen it, or want to rewatch, you have until December 28th – that’s when it’s leaving Netflix. Seriously, don’t miss it!

Four Years Ago, One of The Most Thought-Provoking Anime Ended Without Ever Getting a Sequel

I’m a huge anime fan, and honestly, it frustrates me that some of the best shows often get overlooked. You’ve got these incredibly realistic stories – ones that really dig into things like the pressures of school, the struggles artists face, and just everyday life – and they’re amazing! But they rarely reach the same massive popularity as those big action-packed battle series. It’s a shame because even when these shows get good reviews and decent viewership, a second season is never a sure thing. Sometimes years go by, and others just…vanish. Take Blue Period, for example. It came out in October 2021 and was so thought-provoking, everyone loved it! The first season wrapped up in December, and it’s been nearly four years now with absolutely no news about a sequel. It’s really disappointing when a show that good just seems to get lost in the shuffle.

Netflix Buying Warner Bros. Might Not Be Bad News For DC Comics (Here’s Why)

Big mergers always bring changes, but DC Comics could actually benefit from its acquisition by Netflix. Netflix is already interested in projects based on comics, DC is currently doing well with its high-end Absolute line, and Netflix has even started making its own tie-in comics. This combination could allow DC to not just survive the change, but to flourish in surprising ways.

Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ Will Bring Back the Most Controversial Parts of ‘Oppenheimer’

Even before its release, The Odyssey is sparking debate among fans, with discussions focusing on the actors, costumes, and the specific ancient Greek text Christopher Nolan used as inspiration. Beyond these initial reactions, the story itself is likely to evoke strong feelings. The film retells the epic journey of Odysseus, a Greek king, as he struggles to return home to his wife after a decade-long voyage filled with challenges from both gods and humans.
