Junji Ito’s New Horror Manga Collection Set to Haunt Readers in 2026!

Viz Media has announced that a new horror manga anthology titled “Statues: Junji Ito Story Collection” is set to arrive in spring of next year, but they have not yet specified an exact date. This upcoming release from the manga publishers promises to be terrifying, featuring headless statues, a teacher’s grisly murder, a cursed river ritual, and more nightmarish scenarios concocted by the Eisner award-winning master of horror, Junji Ito. The anthology will likely include both classic stories from Ito, such as those focusing on headless killer statues, as well as at least one original story based on past releases.

Moon Knight Creator Reveals Exciting Plans to Revive a Beloved Marvel Series!

As a die-hard film enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about what’s brewing on the horizon! For instance, Jake Schreier, director of Thunderbolts*, is set to reboot the X-Men with a script by Michael Lesslie, who penned The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Yet, that’s not all we have to look forward to! Jeremy Slater, the brain behind Disney+’s Moon Knight and a writer on the 2015 Fantastic Four, is eager to animate an underappreciated Marvel team – if given the opportunity, of course.

Why My Hero Academia’s Spinoff is What the Original Series Was Always Meant to Be

The spinoff strongly resembles the original “My Hero Academia” series in various aspects, notably its portrayal of heroes, villains, and the Quirk system. However, the strongest parallel can be drawn between the main characters, Koichi and Izuku Midoriya, as they both possess a compassionate character and an unwavering ambition to become heroes despite having mediocre Quirks. While “My Hero Academia” initially suggested this theme with Deku but later deviated from it by bestowing him with a powerful inherited power, Koichi’s journey remains faithful to that original concept, fulfilling the promise that creator Kohei Horikoshi seemed to establish in the main series.

Batman: The Real Problem Isn’t the Robins, It’s the Dark Knight Himself!

Over the years, there’s been an issue with having too much Batman content, which can feel overwhelming at times. You could say that his influence is far-reaching, even dominating. It seems like there’s always something new about Batman, and it can be a bit excessive. We understand that he’s known for being brooding, intelligent, and creating numerous psychological villains. Additionally, while he often struggles with teamwork, he’s still a key member of the Justice League or leading his Bat-Family in combat. It’s hard to deny that when considering the flaws in Batman comics, the masked vigilante is probably the main culprit, isn’t it?

This change seems to be resonating throughout the series, hinting at a revised perspective on the vast multiverse that “Rick and Morty” explores. However, the next episode might deviate from this pattern, and for a sneak peek at Episode 3, take a look at the video above.
