I was so excited to see the results of a recent survey from the Harumek Institute for Living Skills! They’re a fantastic organization that really looks at what’s happening with people over 50. They asked women, aged 50 to 84, to name their favorite characters from books, movies, TV – anything! The survey actually started way back in September 2025, and I’ve been waiting to see what the results showed about the characters these women connect with.

Okay, so last night was pretty special! I was watching the incredibly talented Grammy winner host Saturday Night Live for the third time, and it was so sweet to see her boyfriend cheering her on from the wings. He was also there to support their Wicked co-star, Bowen Yang, who was saying goodbye after his final show as a cast member. It was a night full of talent and heartfelt moments!

Starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, the film is now available to stream on Prime Video starting December 22nd. The story follows a group of unlikely heroes who are transported into the world of Minecraft through a strange portal, and they set off on a fantastical adventure through its unique, blocky landscape, guided by a surprising character named Steve.
