The Belfry is a more recent and unique take on the Batcave, featured in the Detective Comics series by James Tynion IV. Instead of being hidden outside the city, it was located right in the heart of Gotham, inside a tower. While it’s a departure from the classic Batcave, fans really enjoyed this fresh approach. Though it’s unlikely to return, many are hoping to see it again.
ComicBook recently spoke with Brad Fuller, the producer of Anaconda, about the new comedy version. He also shared an update on the Outrun movie, a project previously announced with Michael Bay and Jason Sweeney. Honestly, the future of IT: Welcome to Derry is still up in the air. The people making the show have talked about wanting to do three seasons, but HBO hasn’t said if it’s getting renewed yet. As a huge Stephen King fan, I’m really hoping we get some good news! While I’m sending all the positive energy I can, I’m also really hoping co-showrunner Jason Fuchs gets a chance to develop a spin-off focusing on Dick Hallorann – I think his story deserves to be told and would be amazing!
For the past few years, a new wave of talented filmmakers has been creating exceptional horror movies. Many of these directors really shone in 2025, making it a great year for the genre. However, with so many excellent horror films released, it’s tough to pick out the very best.
