Previously announced, “Rent-a-Girlfriend” is set to release Season 4 this coming July. As anticipated, the anime will be adapting the Hawaii Arc from Reiji Miyajima’s original manga series. This is further confirmed with the latest teaser trailer for the upcoming episodes before their premiere in July. The video above also includes a sneak peek of one of the major events from the Hawaii Arc that fans are eagerly waiting to witness later this year. The series is developed by writer Robbie Thompson, who’s now involved with the TV show’s fourth season, and artist Travis Mercer. Excitedly, Thompson shared his feelings about the project, saying, “Being a long-time Star Trek (long live TOS!) admirer, I was overjoyed when editor extraordinaire Heather Antos invited me to propose for a Strange New Worlds miniseries. Working on the fourth season of the Paramount+ series has been a dream fulfilled, and I can’t wait to delve deeper into this playground.

The animated series “New Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt,” produced by Studio Trigger, offers a fresh perspective on the original 2010 series. Many of the original cast and crew have returned to work on this new season. In anticipation of the upcoming episodes, Kadokawa has released a teaser video showcasing two new characters set to make their debut. The full premiere is scheduled for later in July.
