
During the Nintendo Direct broadcast, they unveiled a brand new Switch Pro Controller, boasting an integrated audio jack and two adjustable buttons on its reverse side. This model will retail for $79.99, which might seem high considering that Nintendo Switch 2 games are going to be priced similarly. For those of you who currently own Nintendo Switch accessories like the Pro Controller, there’s no immediate need to upgrade since the existing one can still be charged via a USB cable. Interestingly, this method doesn’t apply to the Switch 2 console when it comes to charging the Joy-Cons, but they will wirelessly pair with the new system.
