Fans of the anime “Berserk” haven’t seen an official continuation since the release of “Berserk: Memorial Edition” in 2022. With no word on the Band of the Hawk reappearing on screen, enthusiasts took charge and started their own projects centered around Guts and his harsh universe. One notable example was Studio Arche’s fan animation, serving as an unofficial sequel to the 1997 anime. However, this project came to a halt when Hakusensha Inc., the owners of the “Berserk” license, declared that the fan-anime had no connection to the franchise. Conversely, Studio Eclypse, the fan studio behind “Berserk: The Black Swordsman,” has recently hinted at some significant updates.
