Despite most of the original Justice League members getting stories in the ‘Absolute’ universe, Aquaman is notably absent. The ‘Absolute’ line started with just three titles and has since expanded, with more planned for next year and new heroes appearing in existing series. However, a recent comment from a creator suggests an ‘Absolute’ Aquaman story might be coming soon, giving fans reason to be optimistic.

The live-action movie adaptation of Sakamoto Days is rounding out its cast, following the earlier announcements of Ren Meguro as Taro Sakamoto and Shin Asakura as Fumiya Takahashi. Recently, Ueta Aya was cast as Aoi Sakamoto, Taro’s wife, and Yoshimoto Miyu will play their daughter, Hana Sakamoto. In the series, Aoi and Hana were the primary reason Taro left his life as a hitman, though his past continues to affect his present as a convenience store owner.

Both the Autobots and Decepticons boast incredibly strong characters. Sideswipe is known for his speed and difficult-to-match agility, and Ironhide is nearly indestructible except for a specialized rust weapon. Meanwhile, Starscream possesses immense strength and can fly away as a jet, and Soundwave can control and manipulate sound, even reading minds. With so many powerful characters, the Transformers franchise is full of truly formidable heroes and villains.
