Resident Evil Movie Reboot is in The Works at PlayStation Productions, Constantin Film

PlayStation Productions is teaming up with screen rights-holder Constantin Film to collaborate on a fresh Resident Evil film. The script for this project will be penned by Shay Hatten, who has previously worked on John Wick: Chapter 4 and Army of the Dead. Joining Hatten will be Zach Cregger, who will contribute as both a co-writer and director for this venture. Multiple studios are vying to take charge of the film’s production, with names such as Warner Bros. and Netflix being involved in a fierce bidding war.
