Star Trek TV Shows Ranked By the Order You Should Watch Them In (If At All)

Many fans start with the original Star Trek series since it was the first one aired. But some prefer watching the shows in the order the events happen in the Star Trek universe. It’s worth remembering that you don’t need to watch every single episode to enjoy and understand the franchise – not all the series are equally good!

Ghosts’ Latest Halloween Episode Gives Me A Theory About Why So Many Dead People Come Back As Ghosts, And I Need It To Be Canon

The latest Halloween special from Ghosts Season 5 is another standout episode, and a great addition to the 2025 TV lineup. I recently finished watching the whole series to get ready for the new season, and this year’s Halloween episode, “Halloween 5: The Mummy,” was the first one I’ve watched around the actual holiday in years. It was a sweet reminder of why Nigel and Isaac were such a lovely couple, and it even hinted at a possible rekindling of feelings between Hetty and Trevor. Plus, the episode reinforced my idea about why so many of the ghosts who died at Woodstone haven’t moved on.

Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone Exit Could Be the Best Thing to Happen to Star Trek in Years

When the streaming services started competing for viewers, CBS All Access (now Paramount+) was initially boosted by the popularity of the Star Trek universe created by Gene Roddenberry. However, the newer Star Trek shows didn’t significantly attract new subscribers, as most fans were already watching. This changed when classic Star Trek episodes moved from other platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime to Paramount+. Around the same time, Taylor Sheridan’s success with Yellowstone led to the creation of several related shows, most of which premiered on Paramount+. These shows are largely credited with helping the streaming service improve its financial performance. By the time Sheridan fully moves to Universal in 2029, Paramount+ will have a collection of multi-season shows that could encourage repeat viewing and potentially attract new fans. While Sheridan’s departure as Paramount enters a new phase led by SkyDance feels like a significant loss, the interconnected series he created likely won’t have the lasting appeal of Star Trek.

Demon Slayer Unveils New Look At the Fan-Favorite Sound Hashira

Tengen hasn’t fought any demons recently, but he’s still been part of the story. To celebrate his birthday on October 31st, the anime’s official website released a cute, miniature illustration of him. In keeping with the current style, Tengen is shown wearing light-colored clothing and carrying a small bouquet. A large, colorful flower arrangement behind him stands out against his simple outfit. The studio is also using this birthday artwork to promote Tengen-themed merchandise on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

It’s Been 6 Years, and I’m Still Waiting for a Sequel to This Marvel Game

The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games are a fantastic example of this working well. These action-packed games let you explore the entire Marvel Universe, not just focusing on a single hero or storyline. Over three games, players really got a sense of how vast and interconnected the Marvel world is. It was a great way for both new and dedicated fans to experience all its different characters and corners, and I’m hoping we’ll see a new game in the series soon.
