Transformers/GI Joe’s Energon Universe is Getting an Animated Series

Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment is partnering with Hasbro Entertainment to create a new adult animated series called “Energon Universe,” according to Deadline. While it’s not yet known where the show will stream or air, a showrunner has been selected: Joe Henderson. He’s known for his work on popular TV shows like Lucifer, White Collar, Almost Human, Graceland, and 11.22.63. The series will feature prominent roles for iconic characters from both the Transformers and G.I. Joe universes, including the Autobots, Decepticons, G.I. Joe, and Cobra, just like in the original comics.
