Some might consider this a bit of a shortcut, as the Berserk series did return with new films and the 2016 anime, which lasted for two seasons. Those seasons continued the story after the Eclipse arc, acting as a sequel to the original 1997 series. However, we’d really like to see Studio OLM animate Guts and the Band of the Hawk again. Interestingly, OLM is currently still working on the Pokémon franchise with Pokémon: Horizons, following the new characters Liko and Roy – a very different tone from Guts’ dark and gritty tale.

Chase, portrayed by Jeffrey Wright, is a great example of this concept – even though he never demonstrates any superpowers. He acts as a mentor to Robert (the player), guiding him through his job at the SDN. Chase is a cynical veteran whose long life is eventually explained as an unexpected consequence of being a superhero in the past. This creates a surprisingly poignant take on a classic superhero figure and offers a fresh perspective on the abilities of the Flash.

In an interview with New Rockstars, James Gunn was asked if the introduction of Darkseid in Salvation meant he was planned for a larger role in the DC Universe. Gunn explained that using Darkseid as the main villain right now isn’t necessarily the right approach, citing Zack Snyder’s previous portrayal and the impact of Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as reasons why.

Even with the long wait between seasons of Stranger Things—almost a decade—we haven’t lacked good science fiction on TV. In fact, many popular shows have started and finished during that time, really showing how lengthy the production has been. Series like Westworld, The Good Place, Superman & Lois, The Handmaid’s Tale, and What We Do in the Shadows have all come and gone, and here are ten more sci-fi and fantasy shows that aired completely during Stranger Things’ run.

Although many found the series to be full of old-fashioned and overly dramatic storylines, it still became quite popular. The original manga finished in 2013, but the author, Hino, quickly released a sequel, Vampire Knight: Memories, set a thousand years after the original story ended. That sequel concluded this August, and now the cover art for the final volume has been revealed by @MangaMoguraRE on X. Following the previous cover which showed Yuki Cross and Zero Kiryuu, the final cover features Yuki and Kaname Kuran. Volume 11 of Vampire Knight: Memories will be available in Japan on December 5th, 2025. Viz Media publishes the English versions, but hasn’t announced a release date yet.

The new version of Tekken 3 is available to play now on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but unfortunately, it doesn’t include PlayStation trophies. This is similar to what happened with other older PlayStation 1 and 2 games that have been re-released on newer consoles. It’s unknown why trophies weren’t added, which means players won’t be able to earn a Platinum trophy by completing challenges in the game.
