This new action figure is based on a dramatic scene from the *Transformers* comic book series. In issue #4 (2023), Optimus Prime loses an arm in a fight with Skywarp and the Decepticons. Instead of repairing himself, he uses the Matrix of Leadership to power a hospital and help patients. Luckily, Ratchet manages to recover Megatron’s detached arm – complete with its Fusion Cannon – and surprisingly, attaches it to Optimus Prime. Now that’s what I call a powerful upgrade!
James Gunn, the creative force behind the DC Universe, said that the second season of *Peacemaker* would significantly impact the future of the franchise. He was right, but the season finale didn’t feature any surprise appearances from major characters. Despite rumors, even Lex Luthor, who appeared in a previous episode, didn’t return. It quickly shifts to a funny look at Little Batman and Alfred (dressed as Robin!) causing chaos around Wayne Manor, suggesting that the show’s strength will be in the dynamic between this quirky family. We also see Little Batman and Claire joining forces for a superhero adventure, and while Claire isn’t thrilled with everything being called “Bat-something,” it’s clearly the theme of the show. Batman has a strict rule against torture and killing, but his secret plans often involve eliminating his friends if they become compromised. These contingency plans, designed to deal with rogue heroes, were unfortunately stolen by the villain Ra’s al Ghul, nearly costing the Justice League their lives. While these plans might seem logical considering the power of his teammates, they frequently have disastrous results and reveal how Batman’s extreme preparedness and distrust can verge on obsessive behavior.
The DC Universe’s television plans have faced some challenges, similar to its films. Along with previously announced shows, James Gunn and Peter Safran revealed a series based on Booster Gold is being developed, with David Jenkins (creator of *Our Flag Means Death*) writing the script. They also announced a fantasy series called *Paradise Lost*, exploring Wonder Woman’s home, Themyscira, and a show centered on Amanda Waller. While updates on both of those have been scarce – and often, a lack of news is a positive sign – one of these projects has recently received disappointing news.
The manga series is facing another break due to the author’s health issues, which has happened several times before. It paused in January and returned in July to continue the Foundation Festival Arc, but just a few months later, another indefinite hiatus was announced for the same reason. The news came from @MangaMoguraRE on X, a generally trustworthy source for anime and manga updates. While there’s plenty of source material for a second season of the anime, future seasons might be delayed. The frequent breaks and unpredictable release schedule could mean fans will have to wait several years for a potential Season 3.
