A remake of the anime was officially announced by WIT Studio in December 2023 at Jump Festa 2024. The studio has promised to improve the pacing, which has been a major issue with the current anime. Although the remake is taking time, fans can expect high quality, given WIT Studio’s track record. Similar to the ongoing *One Piece* reboot, other classic Shonen anime could also benefit from a modern update. These series all struggle with filler content and slow pacing, and might be better enjoyed with a seasonal release and updated animation.
