As a discerning movie critic, I must share some intriguing viewing statistics that have recently come to light. Two captivating animated series from Disney-owned 20th Television Animation – “Family Guy” (with an impressive 435 episodes) and “Bob’s Burgers” (boasting 280 episodes) – have held viewers spellbound for a collective total of approximately 79.24 billion minutes on Hulu alone!

In a close race, “Family Guy” clocked in at 42.44 billion minutes, while “Bob’s Burgers” followed closely behind with 36.80 billion minutes. However, when it comes to the grand finale, CBS’ “NCIS” (with an astounding 477 episodes) takes the cake, having been viewed for a staggering 35.91 billion minutes across Hulu, Netflix, and Paramount+. Quite remarkable, wouldn’t you agree?

If you’re not familiar with Centuria, a new manga from Shonen Jump was launched in April by artist Tohru Kuramori. The story revolves around the protagonist Julian, who is enslaved on a ship. He develops a bond with a woman named Mira, but tragically, the slaves are massacred by the captain and the strength of the slaves and Mira herself are transferred into Julian. Now burdened with protecting Mira’s newborn daughter and seeking revenge for the murdered slaves, Julian embarks on a dark journey while also trying to save the baby under his care. Given this plotline, it’s clear that Kuramori drew inspiration from both H.P. Lovecraft and Kentaro Miura in creating this series.
