Poldark and Harry Potter favourites star in first look at new dark psychological drama

I’m so excited! They’ve finally started filming, and we got our first look image (above) of the stars on set! It looks like they’re shooting all over the North East of England, which is fantastic. We’re going to have to wait a little while, though – the series isn’t due out until 2026. I’ve been following this project for a while and can’t wait to see it come to life! More details here.

Beauty and the Beast is often considered Disney’s greatest animated film. The movie made history by being the first animated feature ever nominated for the Best Picture Oscar; while it didn’t win, this achievement established Disney as a leading storyteller and paved the way for the many beloved classics that followed during what is now known as “The Disney Renaissance.” So, when a live-action remake of the story was announced, particularly with Dreamgirls director Bill Condon at the helm, there was a lot of anticipation.

Absolute Evil #1 Introduces the Twisted Absolute Justice League In a Compelling Page-Turner (Review)

The Absolute books have been consistently great, and Absolute Evil #1 had high expectations to meet. Thankfully, writer Al Ewing delivers. What really stands out about the Absolute Universe is how well the writers collaborate, and Ewing expertly demonstrates the connections between all the Absolute titles. This issue reveals the underlying links that weren’t previously obvious, immediately grabbing your attention. The portrayal of Hawkman is particularly well done, as it builds on our understanding of the Golden Age version while adding a clever twist. It feels natural that Hawkman would be a fascist in the Absolute Universe, considering his character has always leaned in that direction.
