In a recent interview with *Empire*, creator Noah Hawley dashed fans’ hopes for a crossover between *Predator* and *Alien*. He confirmed that no Xenomorphs will appear in the movie, but emphasized this actually makes the story stronger. Hawley explained they didn’t want to simply combine the two franchises for the sake of it, and that the inclusion of the Weyland-Yutani corporation is driven by genuine narrative reasons.

And then, just a couple weeks after that, on October 26th, HBO is giving us *IT: Welcome to Derry*, a spin-off from Stephen King’s *IT*. It’s going to be a great month for TV!
