As a dedicated Harry Potter fan, I’ve gotta say, the criticism leveled at the newest game in the franchise seems unfairly harsh to me. It’s been a while since we’ve had a fresh video game adventure set in the magical world of Hogwarts, with both movie tie-ins and LEGO games having run their course. The release of Hogwarts Legacy last year was a breath of fresh air for us Potterheads. Now, with its success, it’s clear that we can expect more Harry Potter games in the future. And just this month, another game dropped, which I’m excited to dive into and explore the wonders of the Harry Potter universe once more.

It appears that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is edging closer to a new television contract, and fresh reports suggest that AEW’s pay-per-views could be shifting to a new streaming platform from January 2025, as per Andrew Zarian from the Mat Men Podcast. If this information proves accurate, AEW pay-per-views will soon be accessible on Max. While they can still be bought elsewhere like currently, Max will serve as their permanent home for those who prefer a one-stop streaming service. This move could lead to numerous AEW fans subscribing to the platform before their first pay-per-view in 2025.

The latest issue, Volume 4, features the new primary characters as they take center stage in the battles. This manga made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine a year ago and has been an instant hit for the magazine since then. In fact, it generated much excitement among manga enthusiasts even before the first chapter was released, and it has managed to maintain that initial buzz with each subsequent chapter.

In a fresh twist for the Transformers universe, Transformers One is exploring the franchise’s lore through a new animated film, providing insights into what Cybertron looked like prior to the conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons. The Transformers brand has grown significantly beyond its initial toy line, encompassing numerous TV series, movies, video games, and various interpretations of the ongoing struggle between the Autobots and Decepticons. Transformers One carries on this legacy with its unique portrayal of that central conflict, but delves even deeper by depicting what Cybertron was like before these factions were even established.

Next year brings us “Captain America: Brave New World,” and it seems Marvel Comics may be foreshadowing an unexpected MCU comeback with their latest title. This week, fans were treated to a limited series titled “Sam Wilson: Captain America” written by Greg Pak, Evan Narcisse, and Eder Messias. Notably, our hero is battling Red Hulk, much like in the upcoming film. However, there’s an intriguing extra detail that MCU fans should pay attention to. Taurin Clarke’s captivating cover for “Sam Wilson: Captain America” also includes Eli Bradley’s Patriot as part of the narrative. While Isaiah Bradley has been confirmed for the upcoming Marvel film, there’s no news about his grandson reappearing in the franchise. Could this be a hint at Eli’s role in the movie?
