Sanrio characters are known for being sweet, gentle, and cute, but *Aggretsuko* is different – it’s much more angsty. While Kuromi tries to appear rebellious, she doesn’t compare to Retsuko’s intense frustration. *Aggretsuko* seems like a typical cute Sanrio show about a red panda navigating the everyday life of an office worker, but it actually offers a surprisingly complex story.
As a big fan of comedies, I was thrilled to see all four seasons of *The Good Place* land on Prime Video just as it disappeared from Netflix on September 26th! It’s one of those shows – created by Michael Schur, who also gave us *Parks and Recreation* and *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* – that really sticks with you. It originally aired on NBC from 2016 to 2020, and it quickly became a modern sitcom classic. The premise is brilliant: Kristen Bell plays Eleanor Shellstrop, a pretty flawed saleswoman who somehow ends up in the afterlife’s Good Place by mistake. The show follows her journey as she tries to become a better person to deserve her spot. It’s a fantastic cast overall, with Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto, and D’Arcy Carden all delivering amazing performances.
Currently, Marvel Comics has two separate story arcs focusing on Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon, but these adventures don’t involve the Guardians of the Galaxy team. Similar to how it’s been since the *Annihilation* storyline, these characters are at their best when they’re working solo, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe could benefit from exploring that dynamic.
Concept artist Jerad S. Marantz recently shared some artwork from a cancelled DC game project with fans. Marantz has contributed designs to several DC films, including *Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice* and *Justice League*. His character designs for this unreleased game have generated excitement among fans, with many hoping it might one day be revived.
