Reading this comic really highlighted the problems with current comic books. It was a large-sized issue, divided into several parts, and told an exciting, expansive story that took readers through the multiverse – a true epic. And it delivered all of that in a single issue! Unlike today’s comics that stretch stories over many issues – six, seven, or even eight – this comic told a complete story in just one. This is a skill that modern comics really need to rediscover.

I recently discovered that Fighting with My Family is now available on Tubi, starting September 1st! This 2019 biographical sports comedy-drama is seriously good, and features an amazing cast including Florence Pugh and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It’s actually based on the 2012 documentary, The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family, and tells the story of professional wrestler Paige, whose real name is Saraya. The film follows her journey, growing up in a really close wrestling family, and how she and her brother Zak got the incredible chance to audition for the WWE.

One-Punch Man Season 3 starts airing this Fall, but not much has been shared about what’s in store. The best way to prepare is to rewatch some of the most exciting episodes from the anime so far. With the new season promising a lot of action, revisiting these episodes will get you hyped for the upcoming battles.

I was really excited to read that Adam Scherr – you probably know him as Braun Strowman from WWE – is potentially in talks to play Jason Voorhees! He told Collider that discussions are happening through his agency. He said, “There may be some talks about it with people that I know and my agency. If we could ever get everybody to get back on the same page and allow the things to work, I might be the next Voorhees.” Honestly, if he gets the role, it would be amazing! It would set a Friday the 13th record and, given his size, really take the character to new heights – literally!

Despite all of its success, Nintendo hasn’t given much attention to this popular game. Wii Sports became a huge cultural hit, selling more than 80 million copies. Unfortunately, the follow-up games weren’t as well-received. This isn’t to say Wii Sports Resort and Nintendo Switch Sports are poor games, but they simply didn’t have the same level of impact as the original on the Wii.
