In September, James Gunn announced that the story of Superman and Lex Luthor will continue in Man of Tomorrow, a sequel planned for release in theaters on July 9, 2027. Gunn shared that Clark and Lex will face “a larger threat,” leading fans to guess which villain they will team up against. Although Brainiac is a favored pick for the antagonist in Man of Tomorrow, there’s another strong possibility who has already appeared in Superman.

During a preview event for Zootopia 2, the film’s directors, Jared Bush and Byron Howard, discussed the detailed research involved in creating the fictional mammal city. Bush stated that establishing “clear guidelines” for their animal world was key for the Zootopia 2 team. As a result, when figuring out the diets of their meat-eating mammals (and now reptiles in the sequel), the directors shared that insects and fish would certainly be included.

Not all horror movies rely on shocking plot twists, but the genre has seen some truly memorable ones that significantly influenced future films. While horror’s popularity has risen and fallen over time, consistently strong endings – ones that either astound or deeply disturb – have always been a hallmark. Certain movies, such as the original Friday the 13th’s unexpected reveal of Jason’s identity, or the revelation in The Sixth Sense that “he was dead the whole time,” built upon ideas that had been around for years. These twists were incredibly impactful and permanently altered the landscape of horror. Be warned: spoilers follow.

Based on reviews, this is a fantastic return to form. The Ivalice Chronicles isn’t a complete rebuild from scratch, but it is a thoughtfully crafted remaster. It includes new features to improve gameplay and several other enhancements, all aiming to be the best possible version of the game.
