He’s developed even further as a writer since the early ’90s, making his return to this book a natural fit. Right away, he demonstrates a firm grasp of Peter Parker in this universe, quickly establishing the setting and providing necessary background information within the first few pages. He begins with an exciting action sequence and cleverly uses caption boxes to reveal character thoughts and motivations, helping readers understand where things stand.
