Starfield: Shattered Space Review – Lateral Step

Last year, when I tried and critiqued Starfield, I developed a deep affection for it. While it’s clear that Starfield, Bethesda’s role-playing game set in space, is a game that divides opinions, even its most ardent supporters (such as myself) acknowledge that it has significant imperfections. However, despite these flaws, I found the experience to be nothing short of enchanting for me personally. From its expansive scale to the intriguing lore, from the ship construction mechanics to the intense combat, from the rewarding progression systems to many other aspects, there were numerous elements that resonated deeply with my fondness for Bethesda’s style of gameplay.

Until Dawn Remake Review – An Unreal Remake

Initially released in 2015, “Until Dawn” was a stunning surprise coming from an unrecognized studio at the time. This horror adventure game garnered widespread acclaim due to its teen horror camp vibe, its ability to create real fear, its innovative choice and consequence mechanics, the impressive acting of its A-list cast, and more. In the following eight years, developer Supermassive Games has created several similar interactive horror adventure games such as “The Quarry” and “The Dark Pictures Anthology”. However, despite their varying successes, none have quite matched the heights achieved with the game that sparked it all.
