While many people still recognize him as the creator of the hugely popular *Peaky Blinders* – with a follow-up movie planned – he’s been actively working on new projects since the series finished.

Following a summer of festival performances, Kasabian will play their largest London show yet at Finsbury Park. And that’s not all – the band has also released a new single this week called ‘Hippie Sunshine,’ much to the excitement of their fans.

I’ve been really enjoying Brassic! It’s created by Danny Brocklehurst, who wrote Shameless and Fool Me Once, and stars Joe Gilgun, who I loved in This Is England and Misfits. The show follows Vinnie O’Neill – played by Gilgun – and his group of friends. They’re basically small-time crooks living in this made-up town called Hawley, and they get by doing things like growing cannabis and, well, stealing pretty much anything you can imagine – from a little Shetland pony to a whole wedding! It’s a funny, chaotic show.

It’s easy to find troubling reports about the ‘troubled teen’ industry – a large network of youth facilities across the US that claim to help and rehabilitate young people. This industry is worth millions of dollars.

Just as things seemed to be calming down after the blackmail plot involving John Sugden, Emmerdale threw a new twist into the story during Thursday’s episode (September 25th).

Soon after police officer Alex Dempsey, portrayed by Martin, arrives in the quiet Vermont town where the school is located, he quickly realizes the school isn’t being honest in its advertising. The school is run by the intimidating Evelyn Wade, played by Toni Collette, and Dempsey suspects there’s more to the story than what’s being presented.

According to the official description, he meets Abbie and Leila, two students from a local school for troubled teenagers who are eager to leave town. They might hold the answers to the town’s hidden problems.
