While often overlooked, the ‘Winter is Coming’ episode is a remarkable feat for Game of Thrones. Considering how problematic the original pilot was, it’s amazing how well the series launched. From the start, the show juggled a huge cast of characters and immediately immersed viewers in a detailed world full of intriguing elements – like ice zombies, dragon eggs, and a deeply developed history and mythology that feels authentic.

According to Insider Gaming, a private presentation for journalists and content creators revealed a potential release date of July 9th. This information aligns with other reports suggesting Ubisoft will likely reveal the date publicly before officially announcing it. While the July timeframe seems very likely based on these reports, it hasn’t been formally confirmed by Ubisoft yet.

Krauser, once known as the Emperor of Darkness and believed to be defeated by Terry Bogard, is driven by a thirst for revenge. He’s a dangerous fighter with a diverse skillset – he uses quick stabs, powerful slams, overhead attacks, aerial moves, and grappling to keep opponents off balance. While some of his attacks start a little slowly, don’t underestimate him. Krauser will also be featured in his own story chapter within the Episodes of South Town game mode.

The game now has a release date! Players will be able to revisit the world of Estelle and Joshua on September 17th on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The new version builds on the strengths of the original game, staying true to what fans loved while updating it for today’s players.
