In the original “Jujutsu Kaisen”, there were plenty of monstrous entities that could easily be confused with creatures from another planet. However, in this fresh take, Modulo has infused actual aliens into the storyline. Introducing the Simurians, an alien race numbering 50,000, who have landed on Earth in a spaceship in this future narrative. The character Inspector Marulu Val Vol Yelvori, disguised as an alien, is already part of the scene. This series now promises a clash between the supernatural and extraterrestrial beings, reminiscent of “Dandadan”. This unexpected twist undoubtedly grabs readers’ interest right from the start.

For more than a decade now, enthusiasts haven’t experienced a fresh installment in this game franchise. Since its last appearance on the Nintendo 3DS, there hasn’t been any new release announced, leaving the series somewhat dormant. Although it never reached mainstream prominence, it has consistently maintained a devoted following that even grew stronger due to Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The franchise’s director, Masahiro Sakurai, has shown an affinity for reviving Kid Icarus, and I am optimistic that the potential Nintendo Switch 2 could provide a platform for its resurgence.

James Watkins’ 2012 film adaptation of Susan Hill’s 1983 novel “The Woman in Black” reemerged on streaming platforms on September 1st, now available on Paramount+. This chilling supernatural horror movie takes place in early 20th-century England and features Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who’s recently lost his wife. Sent to an isolated village to settle the affairs of a deceased client, Kipps uncovers village secrets and finds that the house of his late client is haunted by a vengeful woman’s ghost, causing terror amongst the locals. The cast includes Ciarán Hinds, Janet McTeer, Sophie Stuckey, and Liz White as well.

During an interview with ComicBook to publicize his latest film titled “Him“, Wayans talked about the upcoming sixth installment of “Scary Movie” and mentioned several recent horror hits that could be spoofed in the next sequel. “I’m just a fan of the entire genre,” he stated, “and I believe “I Know What You Did Last Summer” might have some potential. I think the “Scream” series is always a fantastic choice. “Heretic“, “Longlegs“, “Get Out“, “Nope“, and “Sinners” are also some excellent horror films that we intend to have fun with in the sequel.
