Lucasfilm Officially Reverses Course on Future Star Wars Movies & TV Slate

Following nearly a decade of focusing primarily on television productions, Lucasfilm is now aiming to focus more on releasing movies in theaters. Since the release of “The Rise of Skywalker” in 2019, the Star Wars franchise has been mostly available on Disney+, featuring various live-action and animated series such as “The Mandalorian,” “Andor,” “The Bad Batch,” and “Ahsoka.
