Each fan tends to find their personal favorite aspect within the shows, which is a testament to the diversity among Trek series. This variety, however, has sparked heated discussions among Trekkies as they argue about which shows accurately represent the franchise and which ones may be better left in the past. Some series have innovatively pushed the boundaries of Trek, while others have admittedly struggled to find their footing.

Although digital effects were present, the blend of practical and digital techniques gave depth to the world and provided viewers with a tangible point of reference to engage with.

Let’s begin by discussing what we have learned so far. Project Olympus is a clandestine military initiative aimed at developing super-human individuals. Wally, who represents the peak outcome of their experiments, isn’t their sole creation – they’ve also produced characters like the Rogues, Heatwave, Weather Wizard, and even telepathic, green apes such as Grodd. Moving forward, it appears that their research may involve utilizing an extraterrestrial energy source. This is suggested by Colonel West’s discovery of a spaceship and deceased aliens in tanks at the end of issue #5.

However, it has room for improvement, as indicated by Digital Foundry’s review, it seems that Virtuous’ development team still has tasks ahead.
